Niles' Apartment is an apartment in The Montana, where Niles lives. It is frequently seen throughout the series. It has many unnecessary rooms, including a gift wrapping room. It is very expensive and only has many residents of high social status. The building does not allow cats or dogs as pets, so Niles has to get rid of the dog he owned for a brief while and instead adopts a Cockatoo, whom he names Baby. Baby eventually died after accidently swallowing Daphne's ear ring. Niles eventually has to move out of this apartment and moves into another, low rent, apartment when Maris makes him give her a large settlement amount in their divorce; however he returns later and remains there until the end of the series.
